Birthday Card with Flowers

Good day crafty friends! Today I want to share this Birthday Card with Flowers I made following the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. To make this card I decided to use already stamped flowers from the stash I started back in 2011 of extras. Sometimes I'll just stamp a bunch of additional flowers to use later but then I forget to use them. So, after sorting through the flowers I found three that were stamped with the same ink color and selected them to use on this card. The Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede leaves were stamped using the Fab Flowers stamp set by Lawn Fawn and die cut with the coordinating dies. Following the sketch I took the literal approach and used polka dots and stripes as shown using paper by Stampin' Up!. The damask background paper is from the Double Dot Damask paper pad by Bo Bunny. The Happy Birthday sentiment is by Print Works Collection and some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Chocolate Fondue was added to the center of the flowers. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Many Blessings Card

Happy Tuesday! The last two weeks I was busy sewing and now I find myself behind on making Thanksgiving cards. That is my goal this week... to get as many Thanksgiving cards made as possible. This Many Blessings Card was made using stamps by Taylored Expressions called Pumpkin Bouquet. The image was colored with Copic markers and then die cut with the coordinating Pumpkin Bouquet die. It was then layered onto a die cut pierced oval and scalloped frame from Avery Elle. The damask paper is from the Fall Is In The Air paper pad by Echo Park with a strip of scrap paper down the middle. Since the image is so pretty, I decided not to add any embellishments and just left it simple. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Happy Halloween Throwback Card

Good evening and Happy Halloween! I've been so busy that I didn't have time to make a new Halloween card to share today, so I decided to play along with the Artsy-Craftsy Throwback Thursday challenge. Here is the link to my original post (click here) from May 2012. This is one of the first Halloween cards I made and it's still one of my favorites. In fact, I've never given it away. I look at it every year and just can't part with it. Maybe next year I will make a couple just like it to give away. I'm pretty sure I still have all the original paper in my Halloween paper stash just waiting to be used. Well, thanks for stopping by on this All Hallows' Eve!

Embossed Blossom Card

Hello! I hope you had a great day! I've been rearranging and organizing my craft room. Every inch of the floor has been vacuumed and everything dusted. It's amazing how fast everything goes from clean to cluttered. Oh, well! Later this evening I took a break and made this Embossed Blossom Card for a couple of challenges. The crumb cake card stock was dry embossed using the fancy fan embossing folder by Stampin' Up! and the detail on the perfect plum blossom was heat embossed using a translucent pearlustre embossing powder by Zing!. The crumb cake tulle was accented with a raspberry ripple bow that I stitched in place. I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!!!

With Love Card

One of my favorite colors is purple, but for some reason it doesn't show up in my cards very often.  Well, I decided that needed to change.  This With Love Card was made using a monochrome purple color scheme for the monochrome challenge at Charisma Cardz and I used the sketch from Card Positioning Systems. If I ever have a question about color schemes I like to consult the online color scheme designer. It is super easy to use and can help select colors that go well together.

With Love Card Supplies: Shades of purple cardstock, purple damask patterned paper by The Paper Studio, corner rounder and small flower punch by Creative Memories, 1" circle punch, With Love clear stamp by Hero Arts (CL500, Love Every Day), VersaMark watermark stamp pad, Stampendous! Pearlustre embossing powder in amethyst, velour brads by The Paper Studio, and stampin' dimensionals.

Count My Blessings Card

This weeks ColourQ challenge stretched my creative abilities.  To participate with this color scheme required a trip to the craft store.  Luckily, I had some pool party and crumb cake cardstock by Stampin' Up! in my stash but the mustard and poppy colors were noticeably absent.   I decided to incorporate a polka dot patterned paper to participate in the paper players challenge this week.  I have to admit I'm a little addicted to card challenges at the moment.  It's so much fun!

Count My Blessings Card Supplies:  Crumb cake and pool party cardstock by Stampin' Up!, patterned paper from Portrait Collection by Crate Paper (#PT908), patterned paper from Lost & Found Two by Jen Allyson for My Mind's Eye (#LF2065), rubber stamp by Stampabilities (I count you twice, ER1038), real estate punch by EK Success (54-30033), eyelet border punch, blossom punch, mixed bunch stamp set, baker's twine in pool party, classic stampin' pad in pool party and crumb cake, stampin' dimensionals all by Stampin' Up!, and Jolee's rhinestone.
