Yellow Flower Birthday Card

Good evening! I have a quick post to share a card I made tonight using the photo inspiration at The Pink Elephant Challenge. I love black and white cards with a pop of color and the yellow is definitely a nice contrast. The flower is die cut with three colors of yellow: Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron. The die cut is by Sizzix, Flower layers #7 and I used a decorative brad to secure the layers together. I added a bling flourish coming down off the flower but in the photo it blends into the patterned paper. The top two corners were punched using a Fiskars decorative corner punch and the sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! set. Well, that's about it. I'm also entering this card in the Crafting From The Heart Anything Goes Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Floral Just for You Card

A versatile sentiment can leave a card open to many occasions. I made this Floral Just for You Card for Mother's Day, but it could be used as birthday, feel better, congratulations, etc. Personalize the inside message for the intended occasion and it's ready to give away. Keep several versatile sentiment cards in your stash and you'll be ready for anything.

To create this Floral Just for You Card I used this weeks sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. The patterned paper is from American Crafts. The stamps are all by Stampin' Up!.  I used the bird from the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set, little flower from the Petite Petals stamp set and I used the Label Love stamp with an Old Olive marker to only stamp the writing for the sentiment. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Happy Easter Card

Hello again! I had some free time during the afternoon to make another Easter card. This Happy Easter Card was made using this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch. The digital image from San's Design is part of a precoloured Easter pack of four images. I love using precoloured digial stamps when I'm crunched for time. The Reunion patterned papers by MME have been in my stash for awhile and the colours worked perfectly with the cute little bunny image. The Happy Easter stamp is from the dollar bin at Michaels and I inked it up with classic stampin' pads in Pool Party and Pumpkin Pie by Stampin' Up! Well, that about sums it up, thanks for stopping by!

Thankful Card

Good afternoon! I've spent the morning doing a little laundry and creating this Thankful Card for the Mojo Monday and The Pink Elephant challenges. I used Bo Bunny patterned paper and stamps from the Apple Cider collection. The stamped images are heat embossed and then fussy cut. The colors of card stock used is by Stampin' Up!, early espresso, cajun craze, very vanilla, old olive and more mustard. I really love the beautiful Autumn colors in the Apple Cider collection.

If you're not in the Autumn mood yet, check out the photo of some pumpkin oatmeal muffins I made yesterday and pretend you can smell the cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mmmm!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and enjoy your day!
