Woodland Fox Card

Good day! The sun was shining and it was a nice day today. While searching through my Facebook feed I noticed a local wildlife rescue organization that I support was requesting donations to help with feeding costs for a couple of baby fox kits. So, I made this Woodland Fox Card to mail along with my donation.🦊

The fox image is from Unity Stamps and Copic markers were used to color the image. A pretty floral paper from Whimsy Stamps was used along with a strip of gingham from my scrap bin. A little pink flower accents the sentiment circle and everything was adhered flat. That pretty much sums it up. So glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Fox Thank You Card

Well... it's time to say goodbye to September. I like the month of September but I'm eagerly waiting for the cooler temperatures that arrive in October. It's the crispness in the air and the changing of the leaves that I look forward to in fall. 🍂

To make this Fox Thank You Card I used the sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday. The fox image is by C.C. Designs and it was colored with Copic markers then die cut with the coordinating die. All papers are by Stampin' Up! along with the thank you sentiment, little butterfly and flower. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Thankful Fox Card

Good day! It's gloomy outside today with overcast skies and scattered showers. So, I've been working on my Thanksgiving cards. I need to mail them on Saturday which means time is running out.

This Thankful Fox Card was made using the sketch from the Inky Paws Challenge. The fox image is from the Harvest Tails stamp set by Newton's Nook and was colored with Copic markers. Patterned papers are from the Fall Market paper pad by Carta Bella with cardstock colors in Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede by Stampin' Up!. I liked the way Becky Noelle added the die cut sentiment on her card, so I found a thankful die and followed her lead. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanksgiving Card - TMS #530

Hello and happy Tuesday! We are starting a new sketch today at Tuesday Morning Sketches and I would love for you to join us this week! I'm using the sketch to make several Thanksgiving cards. It's a pretty simple sketch and easy to make multiples if you're short on time (like I am). The design team used a variety of occasions for their examples. Click HERE for all the inspiration, challenge details and this weeks prize. Just remember to have your creation linked by 8 pm EST on Sunday.

The images on both of these Thanksgiving Cards are by Newton's Nook and were colored with Copic markers. I have fun playing with patterned paper and it's the main reason I started making cards. When I make multiples they are really not the same, because I use different papers. I rarely make two identical cards. Everything on these cards were adhered flat for easy shipping and I chose not to add any embellishments. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Fox Happy Fall Card

Hooray! Fall has officially arrived here in the United States and that makes me happy. Although our weather is still unusually warm, I'm eagerly anticipating the cooler breezes to arrive. This afternoon I made this Fox Happy Fall Card using a new stamp set by Hello Bluebird called Pumpkin Time. The image was colored with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. The images were placed onto the focal area that was made using Distress Oxide inks in Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, Peeled Paint and Fossilized Amber. Patterned papers are from the Fall Market paper pad by Carta Bella and some stitching added for detail. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Note Card with Fox

Hello! Yesterday was the launch of the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog and there are lots of great new products. I'm trying to use good self control, but it's hard. I definitely have a new favorite and it's the Nature's Beauty stamp set. It has some darling critters and for every stamp set sold $3 will be donated to mental health organizations. For this card I stamped the Fox and grasses with Memento black ink and colored them with Stampin' Blends and Copic markers. The Just a Note sentiment is retired, the paper is from the Come To Gather dsp and Mint Macaron twine is from the Nature's Twine set. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Fox Back to School Card

Hello and happy Tuesday! It's back to school for the kiddos and although I don't have kids I usually make a card for the occasion. This Fox Back to School Card will be given to the elementary school that backs up to my house along with a donation. Our neighborhood is having a school supply drive and I thought a handmade card needed to be included. The name of our neighborhood has Fox in it, so when I found this fox image I knew it would be perfect. Copic markers were used to color the image and the Frames & Flags die set by Newton's Nook was used for the blue frame. That's it, a pretty simple and easy back to school card. Thanks for stopping by!

You're So Foxy Card

This weekend while cleaning I came across this cute fox image by Meljen's Designs. It was already cut into a circle and partially colored, so I decided to finish coloring and feature it on a card. The fun colorful circle paper is from the Hello Sunshine paper pad by Doodlebug Designs Inc. and the yellow gingham is by Paper Pizazz. It's been awhile since I've used a charm, so I added the little butterfly with some orange twine. The sentiment is by Taylored Expressions and was punched with a 1 1/4" circle punch then matted to a scalloped circle punch. I used an edge punch for the white accents and that pretty much sums up this You're So Foxy Card. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Flannel Fox Doll Blanket

Hello friends! I've been busy the last couple of days sewing doll blankets and matching pillows for my hubby's nieces. The girls were asked their favorite colors and then I selected the fabric. This cute fox set is for a little girl who currently likes orange. The fox fabric has a lot of colors, so if her favorite changes hopefully she will still like it. Since I made the presents the hubby gets to do the wrapping. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Winter Fox Card

Happy Friday! Life has been busy lately. Last night I spent two hours making decorative pretzel rods for my hubby's coworkers. Most my days are spent sewing since I'm making several of our Christmas gifts this year. It's always my goal to avoid the big box stores this time of year. The crowds and excessive Christmas marketing drive me crazy.

Onto this Winter Fox Card, the Winter Fox and coordinating dies by Lawn Fawn were one of my Cyber Monday purchases. It's the perfect image to share at the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. All patterned paper on this card is by Lawn Fawn and the glitter snow was created with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. The fox was colored with Copic markers, then it was die cut and adhered directly to the card. The sentiment comes with the stamp set and three snowflake sequins were added for detail. I'm also linking this card to the Snowflake Challenge at Cute Card Thursday. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and Warm Winter Wishes to you.
