Camera Cat Hello Card

A big hello to you and thanks for stopping by my blog! Did you know today is National Cat Day? At my house every day is Cat Day or at least that's what my feline friends believe. We have three and they truly are spoiled kitties. They make our lives happier, so I guess they deserve to be spoiled. If you're not a cat person.... well, you just haven't met the right cat.

This Camera Cat Hello Card was created for the following challenges:
Card details: All patterned paper are from the Happy Day paper stack by Pebbles and it was matted to Basic Gray cardstock by Stampin' Up!. The stamped image is by Penny Black and it was colored with Copic markers. To die cut the image a stitched circle by My Favorite Things was used and it was matted to Soft Sky cardstock by Stampin' Up! The cantaloupe colored twine is from The Twinery and the sequins are from Close to my Heart. The Hello sentiment is by TPC Studios and was stamped in Memento Black ink. That's it! Enjoy the rest of your day!

Daisy Love Birthday Card

Hello! A few days ago 4 Crafty Chicks posted an inspiration photo and I knew I had to play along. It took me several days to find the time, but today I finally created this Daisy Love Birthday Card. I used this weeks sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I'm playing along at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge to use Spring Blooms.

The card size is 5.25" square. The Daisy Love focal image by Penny Black is large and didn't allow for the oval shape in the sketch, so I rounded the corners with my corner rounder. I colored the image with Copic markers.  The patterned papers are from American Crafts Spring paper stack from 2013. I used the Petite Petals stamp set by Stampin' Up! for the corner floral detail and the sentiment is from the retired Simply Sketched hostess stamp set. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and come back soon.

Bat Cat Halloween Card

Hello! I hope you're having a great day! I have a quick post to share my latest Halloween card. This Bat Cat Halloween Card will be sent to my youngest niece. She likes cats and the cute Penny Black Bat Cat stamp looks a lot like her kitty. The stamp is quite large at 3.5" and so I made the card 5.5" square. I colored the image with my Copic markers and paper pieced the bat mask. The papers are from DCWV and I used a fun spider web punch by Fiskars to add some detail. For the sentiment I used a new set from Stampin' Up! called Ghoulish Greetings and the final touch were three black rhinestones. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Cat Trio Birthday Card

It's been a crazy week and I can't believe it's April already! Time sure does seem to be flying by quicker with every passing day. I guess my mom was right because she told me this would happen when I "got older." Speaking of getting older, we have a ton of birthdays in April and May and so I decided to make this Cat Trio Birthday Card. The image is by Penny Black and I recycled it from something I saved.  The patterned paper is from DCWV. For the birthday sentiment I used one of my favorites by Hero Arts and it fits nicely inside a 1 1/4" circle. The flourish was cut with my Cricut machine and the flower was made using the Petite Petals stamp and punch by Stampin' Up! Well, that's about it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Frolicing Cat Birthday Card

Hello! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. Mine was really busy! Saturday we spent with my family and Sunday we spent time outside. The weather yesterday was beautiful with a nice cool breeze! It really made it delightful to be outside. We've been working on a hardscape project and expanding a flower bed. It's been a bigger project than we originally anticipated but it will look a lot better when we're done.

Okay, onto my card... this Frolicing Cat Birthday Card was made for a friend. She loves cats and this adorable Penny Black stamp was perfect for her birthday. I used Perfect Plum, Bashful Blue and a touch of Primrose Petals card stock with Daffodil Delight patterned paper from the Gingham Garden dsp. I love the summer feel of the colors. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
