Feminine Strong Card

Good day! The sun is shining today but it's still really cold outside. So, I thought I would share this Feminine Strong Card with you. I've used this sentiment from Unity Stamps before on a masculine card. It's a sentiment that really resonates with me! The background paper is from the Pretty Thing paper pad by MME (2019) with a little bit of Bo Bunny damask peeking out from under the sentiment. A layered butterfly from my extra stash was added and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Challenges entered: Creative Knockouts (Anything Goes), Krafty Chicks (All Occasions) and Watercooler Wednesday (Anything Goes/Final Challenge).

You are Loved Card

Hello! It's cold today here in Oklahoma, so I plan to stay indoors most of the day. I will go out to feed the birds, but it will be a very quick trip outside. My hubby says the birds will be fine, but I feel bad for them especially when I have food to feed them. What can I say... I don't want them to go hungry.

This You are Loved Card features an Altenew word die accented with a white butterfly stamped using the Monarchs stamp set by Newton's Nook. The floral paper is from the Girl Squad paper pad by Pebbles and the heart paper was a scrap I found on my desk. I love it when you find things that match already waiting to be used. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. I'm entering the You are Loved Card into the anything goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thanks for stopping by!💗

In My Heart Card - TMS #645

Good day crafty friends! We are back this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches with another new sketch and this one is by me. I do hope you will give it a try and join us this week. It's perfect for using scraps! You can find the design team inspiration and challenge details HERE. Just remember to link your creation by 8 pm EST on Sunday.

This In My Heart Card was made for my oldest Aunt who has taken care of my grandmother for the last several years. My grandmother had dementia and passed away last week. Although we truly lost her  a couple of years ago. Her passing will be a big change in my Aunt's life. The colors for the card were inspired by all the pretty pink flowers at my grandmother's funeral service. The damask paper is by Bo Bunny and the pink polka dot was a scrap on my desk. A floral image called Wonder Clusters by Altenew was added to the corner of the focal area. The sentiment is a very retired stamp from Stampin' Up! and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

On another sad note... the Watercooler Wednesday challenge is closing. I'm entering this card into their final anything goes challenge.😥

Merry and Bright Card - TMS #644

Hello! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are starting with our first new sketch for 2022 and it's by Debbie Foster. I ventured away from a literal interpretation and used the Christmas ornaments in place of the circle element. The sentiment banner is a little further down the card to give more space for the greenery, but I think you can clearly see the sketch in my interpretation. To make this Merry and Bright Card I used a stamp set by Pink & Main called Deck the Halls with a sentiment by Lawn Fawn and the images were colored with Copic markers. We would love for you to join us this week! Click HERE for all the challenge details and design team inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Cute Dragons Valentine Card

Happy Valentine's Day! Today I'm sharing the card I made for my six year old nephew. He loves dinosaurs and dragons look like dinosaurs, so I used the cute Heart Kisses image by Dustin Pike. A mix of Copic markers and Stampin' Blends were used to color the image. The patterned paper is from the Dino Friends paper pad by Echo Park. A sentiment was added and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. That's it, a simple Cute Dragons Valentine Card. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.💗

Challenges entered: Colour Crazy (Anything Goes), Creative Knockouts (Love/Valentine's Day), Daring Cardmakers (My Sweet Valentine) and Stamping Sensations (Anything Stamped with Wings or Tails).

Beary Special Card - TMS #643

Hello! Today at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are starting our last revisited sketch of 2021 and Tammy has selected sketch #631 as her favorite. Last time around I made a Thanksgiving card, so this time I made a Valentine's Day card. The panda image is by Gerda Steiner and it was colored with Copic markers. I made the sentiment with the computer and everything was adhered flat. We would love for you to join us this week! Click HERE for all the challenge details and design team inspiration. From My Heart Card

Good day! We have snow on the ground here in Oklahoma and I always enjoy it's fleeting existence. It doesn't usually last more than a couple of days and that's a good thing for my aching joints. I venture outside to feed the birds and then quickly get back inside. Snow days are great crafting and napping days!

To make this From My Heart Card I start with the color challenge at Color Throwdown to use Pink, Red, Cranberry and Kraft. These colors naturally lend themselves to a love or Valentine's Day card. The sentiment stamp is from Whimsies & Wishes and the little dog image is from the Love is in the Air stamp set by Reverse Confetti. The heart Kraft paper is from a paper pad I've had since 2012 called With Love by American Crafts and the other papers were from my scrap bin. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. I'm also entering this card into the With Love challenge at Simon Says and the All About Occasions challenge at Watercooler Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

So Tweet Card - TMS #642

Hello! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are revisiting Patti's favorite sketch from 2021 and she selected the sketch from challenge #603. Since Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, I decided to use the Newton's Valentine image on this So Tweet Card. Copic markers were used to color the image and it was die cut with the coordinating die. The papers are from the new Lots of Love paper pad by Doodlebug Designs and I created the sentiment on the computer. That pretty much highlights the details. We would love for you to join us this week. Click HERE for all the design team inspiration and challenge information.

This So Tweet Card is entered into the Inky Paws challenge to use hearts. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!
