Paisley Elephant Card

This week at CASology the cue card word is ZOO which goes great with the Anything Goes Challenge to use Animals. The CASology challenge ends Sunday at noon so I sat down tonight and created this Paisley Elephant Card. The paisley elephant image is a digital stamp by Bugaboo Stamps. I used a paisley embossing folder by Cuttlebug on very vanilla card stock by Stampin' Up! The accent color is old olive and the thank you Itty Bitty Banner sentiment stamp set and Bitty Banners Framelits  are all by Stampin' Up! Thanks for checking out my card and have a great day!

Bat Halloween Card

Happy Friday everyone! This past week was busy for me so I didn't have time to make a card until today. I have to tell you I'm loving the weather this morning! It was a cool fifty degrees and it's really the first morning that it feels like fall. In case you haven't looked at the calendar lately, we now have 26 days until Halloween and I can't wait. This Bat Halloween Card was made using the Color Splash challenge at The Play Date Cafe and the Halloween challenge at Craft Us Crazy. I recently received the Toxic Treats stamp set by Stampin' Up! and I couldn't wait to use it! The bottom picture shows the little embossed purple toad on the bottom of the card. Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a wonderful weekend!!!

It's Your Birthday Card

It's very rare for me to post three cards in one day however, today was my day off. Since cleaning is never my first choice, I opted to spend time creating a card for a couple of challenges. This It's Your Birthday Card was made using the Mojo Monday Sketch and using the Tic Tac Toe challenge at The Paper Players. I went with ribbon, yellow & gray and birthday for the Tic Tac Toe challenge. The two challenges went well together and I really like how the card turned out. Have a great day!

It's Your Birthday Card Supplies:
  • Paper: Very vanilla and basic gray card stock by Stampin' Up!, MME Sunshine Paper Pad (#LF2104) and silver card stock.
  • Stamps: Life Is Tweet stamp set by Close to my Heart (S1206).
  • Inks: ColorBox chalk ink in charcoal by Clearsnap.
  • Other Stuff: Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, light gray ribbon by The Paper Studio, Cricut machine, Straight from the Nest cartridge, and foam tape.

Leaves Thanksgiving Card

I LOVE the colours of Autumn leaves and I'm loving all the fall card challenges right now. Last night I was playing around with my new Wonderfall stamp set by Stampin' Up! and I created this Leaves Thanksgiving card. The design is simple but effective. Sometimes big embellishments take away from the focal point, but with this card the leaves deserve all the attention.

Leaves Thanksgiving Card Supplies*:
  • Paper: Very vanilla, early espresso, cajun craze card stock, and Comfort Cafe designer series paper (126898).
  • Stamps: Wonderfall stamp set (128084) and Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370).
  • Inks: Classic stampin' pads in summer starfruit, cajun craze, and early espresso.
  • Other Stuff: Modern label punch (119849), word window punch (119857), pearl basic jewels, and stampin' dimensionals.

*All supplies by Stampin' Up! unless noted.

This card is linked to the following challenges:
  1. Simply Create Too: Autumn/Fall theme challenge
  2. Crafty Creations Challenges: Autumn Leaves theme challenge
