Purple Brentwood Halloween Card

Happy Sunday! Yesterday was the launch of a new stamp set at Jessica Lynn Original called Trick or Treat in the Pumpkin Patch and the design team had a lot of fun creating inspiration for the launch. I was inspired by several creations with Brentwood in different colors. So, I decided to "dress" Brentwood in a purple feather Halloween costume. I'm so used to coloring him in gray or brown tones it was nice to break the routine and try something different.

To make this Purple Brentwood Halloween Card I used the sketch at Sketch Saturday. All patterned papers are from Doodlebug Designs and the image was colored with Copic markers. The smaller front pumpkin was stamped twice, fussy-cut and adhered with dimensionals. To add a little more "spook" the spider and web from the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp set by Newton's Nook was stamped in the corner. The sentiment was added along with two glimmer dot stickers by Jolee's and that was it. Thanks for stopping by!

This Purple Brentwood Halloween Card is entered into the following challenges:

  1. Great image colours and layout the doodlebug paper is perfect with the image

  2. What a cutie-pie! Brentwood looks so adorable in his purple costume! Love these colours!

  3. Cute!! I love the bright colors on this card. Thanks for joining in the fun over on the Sketch Saturday blog.
