Ability, Motivation & Attitude Card
During the day I'm a Business Instructor teaching Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management classes. When I found the rubber stamp used in today's card I had to buy it. The three traits ability, motivation, and attitude are the topics of many conversations I have with my students. So, I may frame this photo and put it on my desk. This ability, motivation & attitude card was made using the sketch from Card Positioning Systems and for the The Paper Players wordsmith challenge. The sketch was perfect for this sentiment and the star worked great with my paper choice.
Ability, Motivation & Attitude Card Supplies: White cardstock, red cardstock, patterned paper by Adorn It (Dizzy Stars, 21963), white glitter cardstock, sentiment stamp by The Paper Studio (Ability, Motivation, Attitude, I1083), classic stampin' pad in midnight muse (126860), Cricut machine, George and Basic Shapes cartridge (red and white stars), blue glitter epoxy sticker by The Paper Studio (501379), and stampin' dimesionals.

Penguin Christmas Card
Penguin images just make me happy. This Penguin Christmas Card is made with a digital stamp by Bugaboo. I'm trying to trick my mind into cooler thoughts by making Christmas cards and by doing a little Christmas ornament shopping at Hallmark this morning. It's been really hot here in Oklahoma. I'm hoping the mind over matter theory really works. The penguins in this image are delightfully cheerful and just what I needed to work on today. I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
- Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge
- Through the Craftroom Door- Christmas in July Challenge
- Hooked on Crafts- Christmas in July Challenge
- The Pink Elephant- Christmas in July Challenge
- 4 Crafty Chicks- Stripes Challenge

Butterflies & Zebra Birthday Card
When The Play Date Cafe color challenge came out yesterday I knew I had to play along. The colors in this challenge are beautiful together. I decided to combine the colors with a sketch challenge at Card Positioning Systems. I gathered all the patterned papers and cardstock that would possibly work but once I found the yellow zebra paper I had to use it. The end result is this butterflies & zebra birthday card.

Rainbow Stripes Thank You Card
Do you ever wonder what to do with all the odd and end pieces of leftover cardstock? When I read today's challenge at CAS-ual Fridays: Let's Strip, it occurred to me that now was a good time to utilize my cardstock scraps. I found seven colours and cut them into 1/2" strips then taped them together and trimmed the sides to make sure it was even. I layered the strips on a white piece of cardstock, then wrapped and secured a little purple doodle twine, cut out the sentiment with the Cricut machine (Alphalicious cartridge), ran the sentiment through the Xyron create-a-sticker, adhered sentiment, and adhered panel with foam tape. Whala, a fun rainbow stripes thank you card.

Hexagon & Twine Note Card
There are so many great card challenges online that it's really hard to pick which ones to participate in. Tonight I combined the Color Throwdown challenge and the Moxie Fab World hooked on hexagons challenge. I started by using my Cricut machine to cut out the hexagon shapes and the fancy hexagon shadows featured on the Winter Wonderland cartridge. Then I knew I wanted to use twine and the design just evolved from there. This card has that modern feel that reminds me of the contemporary card I made back in May.
