Music Good Job Card

Hello! This year I'm only making cards with a purpose. Yesterday I mailed off 16 Valentine's Day Cards for the Cards From the Heart Card Drive. Last night I made this Music Good Job Card for my niece who performed in a choir concert last Friday. It feels good to make cards you know someone will enjoy.

To create this Music Good Job Card I've used a sketch from The Paper Players Challenge. The sketch was perfect to fit the larger Good Job sentiment by Stampology into a circle. I used a stitched circle die by My Favorite Things along with my Big Shot. The You Rock sentiment was created using the Crazy About You stamp set by Stampin' Up! I used the color red for my niece's school colors. The red patterned papers are by Authentique and the music note paper is from The Paper Studio. For some sparkle and detail three gold sequins were added and that's it!

This Music Good Job Card is entered into the following challenges:

A lot of my time lately has been spent sewing! This Peanuts Blanket is my latest project and I've made baby burp cloths to match.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

  1. Andrea, I am so glad you played with my sketch this week! I love the combination of patterned papers on this card and admire your commitment to send out those cards! You are one talented crafter, your Peanuts blanket is wonderful!

  2. Andrea, this is a really great card and I know your niece will enjoy receiving it. Card making is so great, but even better when you make them for a specific purpose. I also sew and your Peanuts blanket is super cute! Thanks for joining us for Nance's sketch challenge this week at The Paper Players.

  3. Good job on this card, Andrea! What an awesome mix of patterns, and a great sentiment. Super cute baby ensemble, too! So glad you joined us this week at The Paper Players!

  4. Right on, Andrea! I like your plan! Crafting with a purpose! Your niece will appreciate this card and it was made especially for her! Way to go for the card drive too! Your baby blanket and burping cloth are adorable! I wish I could sew! I've never been particularly crafty - card making is something I started in my 40's!

  5. The card is perfect and the colors are so nice with the paper you selected.

I LOVE to read your comments! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. Wishing you a crafty day!!!
