Good day! It's almost the 4th of July and although I don't send many cards for this holiday I do make a few. This Celebrate Card was made using this weeks sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches designed by Patti Rowe. The sketch is super simple and perfect for those quick last minute cards. My card features patterned paper from the Celebrating Freedom paper pad by Bo Bunny. I added a strip of silver glitter paper down the middle of the stars for some sparkle. The celebrate was die cut using a Momenta die and that's it. As always, we would love for you to join us this week! For all the challenge details and design team inspiration click HERE. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

The image was colored with Copic markers and then adhered to a piece of green cardstock. Then it was attached to the polka dot background paper. The heartfelt sympathy sentiment is from the No Better Words sentiment kit by Unity Stamps and was adhered flat to the card. That's it! A simple handmade sympathy card.

This You're Narly Card was made using the Narly Mermaid stamps and dies by Newton's Nook along with the Reef Border die by Hero Arts. The images were colored with Copic markers and I used my Big Shot with the coordinating dies to cut out the images. Some glossy accents were added to the tusk of the Narwhal and on the pearl in the shell. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Over the last several days I've been working on this Llama Birthday Card. The colors were selected from the Inky Paws Challenge to use: mint, plum, green and lilac. The image is from the Loveable Llamas stamp set by Newton's Nook and it was colored with a mix of Copic and Stampin' Blends markers. Some grass was cut using the Land Borders die set by Newton's Nook. After cutting some banners and stamping the sentiment everything was assembled and adhered flat. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

Good day crafty friends! It's time to start another fun sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch is designed by Melissa Craig and we hope you're inspired to play along. I had several ideas on how to use the sketch and finally settled on using the chameleons by Lawn Fawn. They fit nicely into the focal areas and I like the way they are looking at each other. There are lots of possibilities with this weeks sketch and I look forward to seeing all the different creative ideas shared. For all the challenge details and design team inspiration click HERE. Hello! When making and sending handmade cards you never expect to get them back. After my brother passed away most of the cards I made him were returned to me. Today would have been his 38th birthday, so I took the cards out to remember happier times. The cards are laying on two king size Batman pillow cases that I made him for Christmas several years ago. Up top in the photo you will see a painted rock with the word "whatever" on it. Another Christmas I asked him what he wanted and he replied "I don't know, just whatever," so I made him the rock and wrapped it in a pretty box. I'm sure I bought him something else, but I couldn't tell you what it was. He got a whatever rock and it made him laugh and that's all I remember. Thanks for stopping by and sharing in my memory. Happy birthday baby brother!

The month of May is my birthday month and I have several family members and friends with birthdays this month too. So, I decided to make a couple of birthday cards for my stash. The first card features the Icing Fluffles stamp by Stampendous!. Since the image is on the larger side, I just pulled the sketch elements down. Copic markers were used to color the image and I paper pieced the cupcake liner. Patterned papers are from the Happy Birthday Girl paper pad by Echo Park (2017) and the yellow polka dots were made with Bo Bunny paper scraps. The second card sticks more to the scale of the challenge sketch and features a candle image by Hampton Art. Papers on this card are from the Happy Birthday Boy paper pad and the same yellow polka dot paper by Bo Bunny was used. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

Last week I started coloring this Newton's Rainy Day Trio image and then life happened and it just went unfinished. So, I sat down yesterday and did my best to finish the coloring. I decided to paper piece the umbrella because I wanted a pattern. The polka dot paper by Bo Bunny matched the purple kitties outfit which made me happy. For the background I used distress oxide inks on mixed media paper. Then the raindrops were made using a cutting plate I bought on clearance at Taylored Expressions. The sentiment was added using Jet Black StazOn ink and everything was adhered flat. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Oops... I've forgotten what day it is! With my hubby home healing from surgery and my chore load doubled I'm doing good to remember my name. 😊 So, here is a quick post to share my card for this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch by Melissa Craig. It's a square card and mine is 5.25" square, although you could make it into an A2 card if you like. All the supplies used are by Stampin' Up! and they are all retired items. I bought the Everything Is Rosy Product Medley when it went on clearance and I finally decided to use it. The sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. We would love for you to join us this week and share your take on the sketch. Using the sketch made this card come together really quickly. The only stamping was the sentiment, so all I had to do was cut the paper and adhere the layers. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Good day! There was a lot going on this past month and I have successfully procrastinated on making my Easter Cards. Since time is now an issue, I'm making several Simple Easter Cards. A pretty floral patterned paper accented with coordinating polka dots along with a bold Happy Easter die cut by Reverse Confetti came together quickly. Then I decided to stamp the cute little rabbit from the Hop Into Spring stamp set by Reverse Confetti and used the coordinating die cuts. The little rabbit was centered above the sentiment and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Hello! Are you ready to play along with another sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches? This weeks sketch is designed by Melissa Craig and we would love for you to give it a try. I ventured away from my creative process this week and did something a little different. Instead of picking patterned paper that I love to start my card, I picked a piece from a paper pad that I truly don't know why I bought. Then I found the gray polka dot border in a package that had been forgotten. I matched the cardstock and decided to use the Happy Birthday die. The final decision was what to do with the postage stamp element, I decided to use a subtle stamp with a coordinating ink color. That's it! This card is definitely different than most of my makes. The design team did a fantastic job! To view their designs and for all the challenge details click HERE. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello and happy Sunday! This morning I woke up determined to make a card for the Try Stampin' On Tuesday challenge before it closes today. I was waiting for my Hop Into Spring stamp set by Reverse Confetti to arrive in the mail and I got it. So, I made this Happy Easter Card using the challenge sketch and large sentiment option. The Happy Easter die cut is also by Reverse Confetti and the tiny floral paper is from the Hoppy Easter paper pad by Doodlebug Design. Copic markers were used to color the images and they were die cut with the coordinating dies. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

This afternoon I made this Mouse St. Patrick's Day Card using a digital image called Little Shamrock Mouse that I found at Whimsy Stamps. It was colored with Copic markers and then die cut with a stitched circle die. The green patterned papers are from the Lots O' Luck paper pad by Doodlebug Design (2018). The black and white polka dots help break up all the green and I decided to add a little bit of gold glitter paper for some sparkle. A sentiment was the final touch and everything was adhered flat. This card is entered into the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies March Anything with a Critter challenge and Crafty Gals Corner Make It Green challenge. Thanks for stopping by!☘

This Bunny Birthday Card features an image by Reverse Confetti from the Party Pals stamp set. The image was colored with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating die. Some fun patterned papers from the Echo Park Happy Birthday paper pad was used along with a tiny chevron paper from my scrap bin. The birthday sentiment is from the retired Avant-Garden stamp set by Stampin' Up! and three punched pink stars were added. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!
