EGG-cellent Easter Card

Happy Easter! Today I'm sharing the card I made for my four year old nephew. He currently loves dinosaurs, so I found this cute dinosaur image on Etsy by Mystitchbackintwine. Copic markers were used to color the image and then it was fussy-cut. The EGG-cellent Easter sentiment was made with the computer and the patterned papers are from the Dino Friends paper pad by Echo Park (2016). It's definitely a non-traditional Easter card but he loved it and that's what matters. Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Door Hanging - TMS Anything Goes

Hello crafty friends! It's the last Tuesday of 2019 and I hope you will join us in our annual anything goes challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches. It has to be new and it has to be crafty but it doesn't have to be a card. I've made a Door Hanging for my nephew for his bedroom at my parent's house. He really likes dinosaurs, so I used some patterned paper by Doodlebug Design. The T-Rex image was a free online download. All letters were cut with my Cricut machine using the Alphalicious cartridge. Everything was adhered onto a comic book board, which is thick, the perfect size and my hubby has a ton of them. That's it! Click HERE for all the challenge details and design team inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will play along with us this week.

Girly Dino Birthday Card

Hooray for the weekend! It's going to be a cold one, but I'm okay with that. Cold weather makes wonderful crafting days. I have a quick post to share this Girly Dino Birthday Card I made to play along with Day 4 of the Monster Birthday Bash at Catch The Bug. It's a bingo challenge and I used Die Cuts (stars), player's choice (sentiment) and Stripes. I've used this Dino Birthday image before but I always made cards for boys. This time it's girly and I think it turned out pretty cute. The papers are from the It's a Celebration paper pad by Echo Park (2014) and the pink stripes are by Stampin' Up!. Copic markers were used to color the image and the sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts. To finish it off three die cut stars were added and that's it. So glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Dinosaur Birthday Card

Happy Friday! Last week I printed out the sketch for the Stella Says Sketch challenge at Catch The Bug and I finally made this Dinosaur Birthday Card to play along. The hardest part was deciding on the patterned papers. In the end I decided on the Lawn Fawn plaid with blue and orange watercolor papers from ms. sparkle & co., luckily the colors matched well. The image is called Dino Birthday by Bugaboo Digi Stamps and it was hand colored with Copic markers. To finish the card three yellow candy dots and the Happy Birthday sentiment were added and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
