Simple Bird Card

Good day! It's been cloudy and raining today. So, I decided to use a paper with clouds by Kaisercraft and make this Simple Bird Card. I really love the sentiment by Stampendous! and the birds on a wire dies are from Spellbinders. A few sequins to finish it off and this card was done. A very simple and quick card!

Thank You Card with Squirrel

Hello! I have a quick post to share this Thank You Card with Squirrel that I made for a local wildlife rescue. A couple of months ago I found a squirrel that had been hit by a car but it was still alive in the middle of the road. I stopped and got the squirrel safely off the road. Then called several rescues to see if I could get help. A group called Wing-It agreed to let me take it to their vet. Unfortunately, it's head injuries were too great, so the vet ended it's suffering. Even though the outcome wasn't what I hoped, I really appreciate their help!

The squirrel image is called Nibbles from Unity Stamps and it was colored with Copic markers. I did search through several paper pads until I found the brown floral. It's from the Family Traditions collection by Webster's Pages. I've been hoarding this paper for awhile, but I love how it looks with the squirrel. Well, thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Daisy Garden Card

Hello and happy Earth Day! Usually I like to go outside and do some spring cleaning and plant flowers on Earth Day. However, today in Oklahoma it's just way too windy. So, I decided to play with the Daisy Garden stamp by Stampin' Up! instead. The colors used include: Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody. A butterfly from the Butterfly Gala stamp set was added and the sentiment is from the retired Special Moments stamp set from sale-a-bration. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. So glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Bunny Enjoy Your Day Card

Happy Easter! I hope you are having a lovely day. We are spending a quiet day at home, which gave me time to finish this Bunny Enjoy Your Day Card. It features the Color Layering Bunny stamp and die set by Hero Arts. As soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted it, I adore the bunny. It reminds me of the cute baby bunnies we find in our backyard. After stamping the outline of the bunny with Memento black ink, I used Crumb Cake ink from Stampin' Up! for the detail stamp. A little Copic coloring in the ear and nose was added. The flowers were colored using Stampin' Blends markers in Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green. I do love the fine tip on the Stampin' Blends for small spaces like the stems and petals of the flowers. The enjoy your day sentiment is from the Simply Sentiments set by Reverse Confetti and a little butterly from the Butterfly Gala set by Stampin' Up! was added. The blue background paper is from the Speckles paper pad by Lawn Fawn and the grass paper is from Doodlebug Design Hoppy Easter paper pad (2019). Everything was adhered flat with the exception of the bunny, it was popped up with Stampin' dimensionals. That pretty much sums it up. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!🐇

Rejoice Rabbit Card for Easter

Hello and happy Monday! This time of year is my favorite for making cards. I love making cards featuring rabbits and there are a ton of cute rabbit images available. For this Rejoice Rabbit Card for Easter an image from Waffle Flower was used along with the coordinating dies. The image was colored with Copic markers using: E00, E50, E21, E30 and E33 for the rabbit. A piece of purple woodgrain paper from the Simply Spring paper pad by Doodlebug Desing (2019) was used and I ran it through the Big Shot with a Stitched Whimsy die by Stampin' Up! to give the edge detail. Everything was adhered flat and that's it. So glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Get Wellie Soon Card

Good day! It's getting late, but I wanted to post this Get Wellie Soon Card just in case my tomorrow doesn't go as planned. 😊 The colors were selected to play along with the Inky Paws challenge to use: Pistachio Green, Golden Yellow, Navy Blue and White. It was fun trying to figure out what images to use with these colors. I finally decided on Newton's Rain Boots and used Copic markers to color. Once the images were colored the coordinating dies were used to cut them out. The yellow striped paper is from the new Springtime paper pad by Newton's Nook and the Pistachio Pudding polka dot is retired by Stampin' Up!. Some die cut grass was added and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. That's it! So glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Dogwood Birds Card

Hello and happy Wednesday! I have a quick post to share this Dogwood Birds Card. When the Dogwood Trees are in bloom they are very pretty. So, I thought this Dogwood Birds stamp by Stampendous! was perfect for a Spring card. The image was stamped with Memento black ink and then colored with Copic markers. Then the image was layered onto a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock* and then adhered to a piece of floral paper from the Cottage Meadow paper pad by Memory Box. The Thinking of You sentiment is very retired from Stampin' Up! (Wetlands stamp set) and it was punched with an oval punch and layered onto a Granny Apple Green cardstock* punched scalloped oval. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Woodland Fox Card

Good day! The sun was shining and it was a nice day today. While searching through my Facebook feed I noticed a local wildlife rescue organization that I support was requesting donations to help with feeding costs for a couple of baby fox kits. So, I made this Woodland Fox Card to mail along with my donation.🦊

The fox image is from Unity Stamps and Copic markers were used to color the image. A pretty floral paper from Whimsy Stamps was used along with a strip of gingham from my scrap bin. A little pink flower accents the sentiment circle and everything was adhered flat. That pretty much sums it up. So glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
