Pumpkin Night Halloween Card

Happy Monday! Each day we get closer to Halloween and I still need to make a few cards. So, for this Pumpkin Night Halloween Card I used an image by Stampendous! and colored it with Copic markers. The papers are from an older Pebbles paper pad called Trick or Treat (2016). Some glossy accents were added to the eyes and the sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! set called Spooky Treats. Autumn/Halloween at Craft Rocket

Good day! I'm happy to be a guest designer at the Craft Rocket Challenge for October and November. This month the challenge is Autumn/Halloween creations. For my card I've used the Hey There Pumpkin stamp set by Unity Stamps. This image is super easy to color and features a black cat, which I love. Some fun Halloween papers from the Echo Park were used and a sentiment from a retired Stampin' Up! set called Spooky Sweets. Everything was adhered flat and that's it! Spooktacular Halloween Card

Hello! The month of Halloween has arrived and I enjoy making Halloween cards for family and friends. This Spooktacular Halloween Card was inspired by a couple of challenge. The photo at Inspiration Station has a girl trick-or-treating with a green pumpkin pail and there are bats on the house. The photo at Two Old Bats inspired me to use the spider web oval stamp by Newton's Nook. Most of the supplies used on this card are by Newton's Nook. The image is called Halloween Pile and it was colored with Copic markers. The Oval Frame Dies were used and the patterned paper is from the Halloween Meows paper pad. Boo Ghosts Halloween Card

Good day! My hubby is working today, so I'm playing in my craft room. I decided to make a Halloween card to play along with the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge. It's just a simple card featuring a Boo Ghosts image by Pink & Main, from the Hello Bootiful stamp set. These ghosts just make me smile, they are definitely too cute to spook. Some striped and polka dot papers were selected and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. To finish it off I added five sequins for some sparkle and that's it. Later in the afternoon I decided to make another card with the same image. This time I used the scallops & Rectangles nesting dies by Unity Stamps. A bolder striped paper was used along with the same polka dot paper. Just a few changes, but I like how it turned out.👻

Halloween Card with Cat

Hello! First, let me say... I love making Halloween cards! There have been some wonderful new Halloween products released the last couple of weeks. That inspired me to use a new stamp set I bought last year, but never used. It's called Trick or Treat Kittens by Newton's Nook.  The image was colored with Copic markers and then die cut with the coordinating die. The layout for this Halloween Card with Cat is from the Inky Paws sketch challenge. Some patterned papers from the Bootiful Nights paper pad by American Crafts (2016) were used and a piece of white glitter tape was adhered. Count Catula Card

Hello! The spooky night of Halloween is fast approaching and I couldn't resist making another card for this holiday. Last year I made a door hanging using the Count Catula image by Stampendous! along with several other images (click here), so today I made this Count Catula Card using the hanging as inspiration. The background was made using distress oxide inks. A creepy tree was die cut using a die from Simon Says Stamp and black grass die cut with the land borders die by Newton's Nook. Then I stamped and colored Count Catula by Stampendous and colored it with Copic markers. Several smaller stamps all from Hello Bluebird were stamped and colored and then everything was fussy cut. Candy Corn Card

Good day! I have a quick post to share this Candy Corn Card I made using a stamp set by Newton's Nook. The design is based off a card from the Newton's Nook stamp launch back in 2018. I've made several cards with this Candy Corn stamp set through the years, but I've always wanted to try stamping the candy around the sentiment like the example. Halloween Pals Card

Hello! Are you counting down the days until Halloween? We started decorating our yard. In our neighborhood our Halloween decorations are always a big hit. It's fun to make the kids smile with decorations and of course candy. 🎃

Awhile back I colored these cute images from the Halloween Pals stamp set by Pretty Pink Posh. So, I decided to make an inky background using distress oxide inks and put them on a card. A black fence was die cut using a Lawn Fawn die called Little Picket Fence. The sentiment was heat embossed with silver embossing powder and two punched bats added to the sky. That's it. Batty Boo Card

Happy World Cardmaking Day! My only make for the day is this Batty Boo Card. I was inspired by the photo inspiration at Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge. The BOO die cut is from Impression Obsession (DIE325-V) and the bat image is from the Gone Batty stamp set by Taylored Expressions. Two pieces of patterned paper were selected the black and white is from the Bootiful Nights paper pad by American Crafts (2016) and the stripe is from the Pumpkin Party paper pad by Doodlebug Design (2018). Halloween Pug Card

Hello! The month of October is almost here and I still have several Halloween cards to make. When I saw the sketch #679 at Sketch Saturday I knew it was perfect for a quick and easy Halloween card. So, I made this Halloween Pug Card using an image by Newton's Nook called Pug-kin along with a sentiment by Stampendous!. The plaid paper is from the I Love Halloween paper pad by Echo Park (2020). Black Cat Halloween Card

Good day! So far I have about half the cards made for Halloween that I need to send to family and friends. I really enjoy using the Hey There Pumpkin stamp set by Unity Stamps. It's super easy to color and I like the size of the image. For this Black Cat Halloween Card I only used scrap patterned papers that were on my craft desk. Glowing Spooky Card

Good day! I think Halloween cards that glow in the dark are extra fun. So, I cut out the Spooky word die with glow in the dark paper. This Glowing Spooky Card is a mini slimline design which is 3.5" x 6". The owl and the ghost images are from the retired stamp set by Newton's Nook called Boo Hoo. Using the flying bats stencil by Newton's Nook with black distress ink and gray cardstock for the background. A tombstone from the Halloween Party stamp set by Hello Bluebird was added along with some black die cut grass and that's it. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. Spooky Card

Okay... it's not that spooky, but it's about as spooky as my cards get. Hope you're having a great day! The Inky Paws challenge is a Halloween theme and the Monday challenge at Simon Says Stamp is to use stencils and my stencils get neglected. So, I decided to use the bats stencil by Newton's Nook to make this mini slimline Spooky Card (3.5" x 6"). The ghost image is also by Newton's Nook from the Boo Hoo stamp set (retired) and the headstone is from a Hello Bluebird set called Halloween Party. Good day! I'm ready for fall to arrive because that means Halloween is soon to follow. Making cards for Halloween is one of my favorites. It must be the colors and black cats!

Good day! Halloween is only 88 days away. Still plenty of time to make Halloween Cards. Since I tend to procrastinate, I'm starting early this year. I usually make about a dozen cards to send to family and friends. Maybe I'll send a few more cards this year and spread a little more Halloween happiness. 🎃

My creation is more cute than spine-tingling, it's as spooky as I get. I made this Happy Halloween wall hanging using distress oxide inks for the background adorned with several stamps that were colored with Copic markers and then fussy cut. The black embossed trees are made using a stamp by Whimsy Stamps called Tree Silhouette used with Zing! black glitter embossing powder. To add a little spooky the Tree Menace and Count Catula stamps by Stampendous! were used along with some cute Hello Bluebird stamps from the Frightful Little Bits and Halloween Party stamp sets. Once I had everything assembled I decided I needed to add a little toad from the Springtime stamp set by Hello Bluebird. The Happy Halloween die cut is from Impression Obsession and that's it. 👻🎃 I'm glad you stopped by and I hope you have a hauntingly fun Halloween!🦇

BOO Card - TMS #577

Good day! If you're looking for a quick sketch to make your next card then you should definitely check out this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch. It's designed by Melissa Craig and it's very versatile. In an effort to finish my Halloween cards I made this BOO Card. I found the die cut BOO when I was cleaning this past weekend and decided it was perfect for this weeks sketch.
