Christmas Card with Santa

Hello! At the beginning of this year I planned on making two handmade Christmas Cards each month. Well, that didn't happen. I didn't even make one Christmas Card a month. Needless to say... not everyone on my card list is getting a handmade card this year. Thankfully, I purchased the Ho Ho Ho Paper Pumpkin kit in October and this Christmas Card with Santa is a modified design from the kit. I added the strip of gingham paper and used a piece of retired Baked Brown Sugar cardstock behind the die cut background. Everything else is from the kit. As always, I adhered everything flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!🎅

Peaceful Christmas Cards

Good day! This month I purchased the Paper Pumpkin kit by Stampin' Up! called Peaceful Christmas. I always procrastinate on my Christmas cards and I knew this kit would save me some time. Here are two Peaceful Christmas Cards I made using the kit. I've layered the papers and changed the orientation of the Noel card.  I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and they came together quickly. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!🎄🎄🎄

Thinking of You Card

Hooray for Friday! This week I received my new Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail and it's called Bouquet of Hope. So, I thought I would end the month sharing this Thinking of You Card that I made using the kit. The kit comes with directions, but I revised one of the designs and did my own thing. I don't use vellum very often and the pieces provided are lovely. Since there is no stamping (floral images are provided in the kit) on this card it came together pretty quickly. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

On My Mind Card with Bear

Hello! This evening I made this On My Mind Card with Bear to send to a friend who lost her mother a couple of months ago. I sent a sympathy card but I think it's important to reach out again after all the shock has worn off and the true grieving starts.

This card was made using the December 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit called Beary Comforting. The layout was created using parts of the kit and adding a matting piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock. HERE is another card I made using the cute bear, it followed the kit directions. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Beary Comforting Card

Well... it's finally time to say good riddance to 2020! Many are hoping for a better New Year and I pray that happens. It's been hard not being able to see my family, especially when my dad has had such an awful year. He's had numerous medical issues come up throughout the year. Several years ago he lost hearing in one ear. On Christmas morning he woke up and couldn't hear at all. This week he has been dizzy and having headaches. He went to a specialist and will have further tests, but he is frustrated and in pain. It's really hard when there isn't anything you can do to make things better. Hopefully I can make the trip to see him soon.

This Beary Comforting Card has already been mailed to my dad. The supplies and design are from the December Paper Pumpkin kit by Stampin' Up! called Beary Comforting. This kit will come in handy when I need quick cards for get well and thinking of you occasions. I want to thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
