This You are Loved Card features an Altenew word die accented with a white butterfly stamped using the Monarchs stamp set by Newton's Nook. The floral paper is from the Girl Squad paper pad by Pebbles and the heart paper was a scrap I found on my desk. I love it when you find things that match already waiting to be used. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. I'm entering the You are Loved Card into the anything goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thanks for stopping by!💗

You are Loved Card
Hello! It's cold today here in Oklahoma, so I plan to stay indoors most of the day. I will go out to feed the birds, but it will be a very quick trip outside. My hubby says the birds will be fine, but I feel bad for them especially when I have food to feed them. What can I say... I don't want them to go hungry.

Love You Card - TMS #638
Hello! It's the first Tuesday of the New Year and we are back with a sketch challenge this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches. We are starting the New Year off with our favorite sketches of 2021 and this week was my pick and the sketch is from challenge #612. It's always fun to look back on what everyone made the first time. For this Love You Card I used a newly acquired stamp called Little Charmer by Penny Black and colored the image with Copic markers. Once colored I used the coordinating die to cut it out. The patterned papers are from the Cupid & Co. paper pad by Echo Park (2020) and the love you dies are by Momenta. That's it! We would love for you to join us this week. Click HERE for all the challenge details and design team inspiration. Thanks for stopping by! ❤
Challenges entered: Crafting Happiness (January Anything Goes) and Simon Says Monday (Something New).

Cat Couple Love Card
Hello and Happy World Cat Day! There are only hours left to join the fun at the Cat Lovers Blog Hop organized by Janis at Her Peaceful Garden. I wanted to make one more card, but crafting on the weekends can be a challenge for me. The hubby is home and our time is usually spent doing other things, but luckily this afternoon he took a nap (smile).
Since I didn't have a lot of time I decided to case one of my old cards that I made my hubby for Valentine's Day 2013 (click here). I used the exact same layout and image. The image is by Meljen's Designs and it came colored. To mix it up, a different sentiment was used which I heat embossed with white embossing powder. The patterned papers are different but similar and three blue hearts were used for detail. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Elephant Love You Lots Card
Good day crafty friends! This Elephant Love You Lots Card will give you a sneak peek at a new hostess stamp set called Love You Lots that will be in the 2016-2017 Stampin' Up! catalog. Using the elephant stamp I have finally attempted the mirror image technique. It came out pretty good, the mirror image isn't as crisp as the original but I don't think it's too off. I did watch a video to help with this technique, you can find it here.
The inspiration to create this card came from The Paper Players challenge to use a "wild thing" on a CAS project. The elephants were stamped using Tip Top Taupe ink onto Sahara Sand cardstock and then fussy-cut. To ground them I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and added some Wild Wasabi die cut grass using an Impression Obsession die cut. Then I embossed the clouds on the top portion of the white panel. Adding a red sparkle heart and the sentiment were the final two details and this card was done. I'm also entering this card in the "Anything Goes" challenge at Crafting from the Heart. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Cupid Valentine's Card
Hello and happy Friday! I've been making Valentine's Day cards and wanted to share with you my latest creation. This Cupid Valentine's Card was made using the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. I've used some new supplies and old supplies to create this card. The new items include the patterned paper by Kaisercraft from their XO Collection and the Cupid die cut by Impression Obsession. The older supplies include the sentiment by TPC Studios, Watermelon Wonder, Crisp Cantaloupe and Soft Sky cardstock and Watermelon Wonder ink by Stampin' Up!. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the focal shape using the Storybook cartridge. That's it!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!
