Hippo Hello Card - TMS #612

Hello! Today I have a quick post to share my card for this weeks sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. As you can see, I was in a purple mood. The cute Hippo image is from Gerda Steiner and it was colored with Copic markers. A tiny floral background paper by Doodlebug Design was used along with a striped paper for the angled detail. The image was matted to a piece of yellow cardstock that was cut with Fiskars deckle scissors. Everything was adhered flat and the die cut hello finished this Hippo Hello Card. Celebrate Card - TMS #611

Good day! It's almost the 4th of July and although I don't send many cards for this holiday I do make a few. This Celebrate Card was made using this weeks sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches designed by Patti Rowe. The sketch is super simple and perfect for those quick last minute cards. My card features patterned paper from the Celebrating Freedom paper pad by Bo Bunny. I added a strip of silver glitter paper down the middle of the stars for some sparkle. The celebrate was die cut using a Momenta die and that's it. As always, we would love for you to join us this week! For all the challenge details and design team inspiration click HERE. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

So Sweet Card - TMS #610

Hello and thank you for stopping by! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we have another great sketch designed by Melissa Craig. I enjoyed playing with the Sweet Strawberry and Berry Blessings stamp sets by Stampin' Up! for this So Sweet Card. The images were colored with a mix of Copic and Stampin' Blends markers. I love the colors in the Berry Delightful dsp and colored the images to coordinate. I do wish I would have moved the sentiment over a little, but it looks okay.😊

Angie's Tree Sympathy Card

Happy Friday! I have a quick post to share this Angie's Tree Sympathy Card using the Angie's Tree stamp by Unity Stamps. It seems the frequency that I need sympathy cards increases every year. I usually make sympathy cards as I need them and don't keep many in my stash. I like to make them for the specific recipient. This one is going to a friend from high school who lost her father. 🌳🌳🌳

The image was colored with Copic markers and then adhered to a piece of green cardstock. Then it was attached to the polka dot background paper. The heartfelt sympathy sentiment is from the No Better Words sentiment kit by Unity Stamps and was adhered flat to the card. That's it! A simple handmade sympathy card.

You're Narly Card

Hello and happy Wednesday! It's getting hot outside and that means time to jump in the water to cool off. We don't have pretty beaches in Oklahoma, but I'm more of a swimming pool girl anyway. When I was in high school my family took a summer trip to Pensacola beach and my sister and I both got stung several times by jellyfish. It really stings! The rest of the trip we swam in the hotel pool.🐠 Maybe one day I'll give the ocean another chance. Do you have a favorite beach you've visited?

This You're Narly Card was made using the Narly Mermaid stamps and dies by Newton's Nook along with the Reef Border die by Hero Arts. The images were colored with Copic markers and I used my Big Shot with the coordinating dies to cut out the images. Some glossy accents were added to the tusk of the Narwhal and on the pearl in the shell. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Cross and Dove Card - TMS #609

Well... it's Tuesday again and time to start a new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch is designed by Melissa Craig and it's a nice open design. I needed a sympathy card, so I made this Cross and Dove Card. The image is by Divinity Designs and it was colored with Copic markers. An embossed frame was placed around the edge and then matted to a piece of green cardstock. Then the sentiment was generated on the computer. The final touch was adding the blue punched circles that I lightly stamped with polka dots. That's it! We would love for you to join us this week! Llama Birthday Card

Happy Friday! My hubby is still off work recovering from his second knee replacement, so my crafting time has been minimal. He has one more week off work and then I'm hoping things get back to "normal." I really miss my alone time!

Over the last several days I've been working on this Llama Birthday Card. The colors were selected from the Inky Paws Challenge to use: mint, plum, green and lilac. The image is from the Loveable Llamas stamp set by Newton's Nook and it was colored with a mix of Copic and Stampin' Blends markers. Some grass was cut using the Land Borders die set by Newton's Nook. After cutting some banners and stamping the sentiment everything was assembled and adhered flat. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.

Hello Note Card - TMS #608

Hello! After three days of migraines I had forgotten what day it was. So, better late than never with this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketches post. When I started my card I first went through my scrap paper and found the floral piece. Given the size of the piece left I decided to make a mini slimline card which is 3.5" x 6". The sketched worked well with this size card. We would love for you to join us this week! For all the challenge details and design team inspiration click HERE. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to link your creation by 8 pm EST on Sunday.
