Meow-entine Card

Good day! The month of January is almost over and Valentine's Day will be here soon. I mail a few handmade cards for this day of Love. Mainly to immediate family and a few family friends. This Meow-entine Card was made for one of my nieces. A few challenges were considered when creating this card. I knew I wanted to use the new Newton's Valentine stamp and coordinating dies. The image was colored with Copic markers and some Stickles added to the hearts for sparkle. Some fun patterned papers were mixed for the background and the sentiment was heat embossed onto black cardstock. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. So glad you stopped by and enjoy the rest of your day.

    Oh Andrea, what a pretty combination of patterned papers in your background. They really make the adorable image of the cat holding that giant Valentine heart stand out. I love the dimension your colouring and shading have given the images, too. Love the little blue bird, too. Now which one is asking the other to be his/her Valentine?
