My Patterned Paper Card is entered into the following challenges:
- The Paper Players: Sketch
- Make It Monday: Anything Goes
- Crafting When We Can: Punches and/or Die Cuts
This afternoon I was bored... and cleaning the house was not on my agenda, so I made another version of my Patterned Paper Card. I used patterned paper from the Party Collection by Pebbles. The colors are nice, bright and perfect for summertime creations. The sentiment is from Rubbernecker Stamps and I used the Beautiful Wings Embosslits by Stampin' Up! for the butterfly. It's fun to see how different a card can look by using different colors. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
This version is entered into the following challenges:

Absolutely beautiful cards! You definitely have an eye for matching colours/patterns and images. Stunning! I, too, am a 'keeper' of patterned papers...love them! You've inspired ideas for ways to 'showcase' my selections (and shared a couple more choices to add to my ever-expanding "must have"list).

Both of these are wonderful -- as always you have designed two great cards
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, oh....you had me at blue, green & yellow! This is exactly the style I had in mind when making up this sketch! Just beautiful! Your second card is pretty, too, but the first one is definitely my FAV! Thanks for making my sketch look so good!
ReplyDeleteHa! I'm a paper hoarder too, Andrea! You made me laugh when you said some were too pretty to use! Beautiful job on both cards. I love the gorgeous patterns you selected and the stitching on them is amazing. Thanks so much for joining us this week at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, these are wonderful! I love that you flipped the sketch on the second one. Your mix of patterns and colors on both is masterful and I love the stitching detail. I've not met anyone in this hobby who wasn't a paper hoarder! I say embrace it! LOL. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, they are both gorgeous. I can't make up my mind which is my favorite. I love the first because of the softness of the color scheme and the perfectly paced butterfly. I like the second because of the color and pattern choices. So glad you joined the Paper Players this week
