Hummingbird Thank You Card

Hummingbirds are delicate and intriguing birds.  I love to watch them in my backyard.  So, when I was picking out stamps to use today my backyard hummingbirds were my inspiration. This Hummingbird Thank You Card features heat embossing.  I was a little brave today and I used three different colors to emboss the hummingbird.  For the card design I used this weeks sketch from The Paper Players challenge.  Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Hummingbird Thank You Card Supplies:
  • Paper: Very vanilla cardstock by Stampin' Up!, patterned paper by Crate Paper (Farmhouse collection, Handpicked #FH957), burnt orange cardstock by Paperbilities, and midnight muse cardstock by Stampin' Up!.
  • Stamps: Hummingbird stamp (99260) and Floral Flourishes (97633) both by Inkadinkado.  Thank You sentiment stamp was a free stamp with a purchase of Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine.
  • Inks & Coloring: Bamboo Leaves by Memento, classic stampin' pads in summer starfruit and midnight muse both by Stampin' Up!, VersaMark watermark stamp pad, Stampendous! Pearlustre embossing powder in cornaline and lapis, and Zing! embossing powder in teal metallic finish.
  • Other Stuff: Offray ribbon from Michaels (103676), and stampin' dimensionals.
