Trick or Treat Card

Each week Halloween gets closer. This evening I came across a color challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges and there was only a little over an hour left to enter the challenge. At that point the challenge was whether I could complete a card in that time frame and post it to my blog. For those who know me, they know speed is not my strong point. I tend to be a VERY slow crafter. Thank goodness the colors were purple, orange and green because I have plenty of paper with those colors. This Trick or Treat Card is my challenge creation. Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a wonderful weekend!

Trick or Treat Card Supplies:
  • Paper: Black ready made card by Recollections, marmalade blast and classic purple card stock by Bazzill Basics, patterned paper by Adorn It Carolee's Creations (Screaming Dots, and Bubbly Brew), white card stock, and bright green glitter card stock by Recollections.

Embossed Leaves Card

Good afternoon! It's time for another fun CAS-ual Friday challenge. The challenge this week is embossing. Just in case you didn't know, embossing is one of my favorite techniques. In this Embossed Leaves Card I used dry and heat embossing. I didn't use a sentiment on this card but it could be used for many different occasions. Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a great day!

Simple Things Card

It's hard to believe that September first is here. I really don't know where August went. Nothing eventful happened and our weather here in Oklahoma was decent compared to the awful July we had. Moving onward and getting closer to the holidays, I guess it's time to start Christmas shopping! There is 114 shopping days left, just in case you wanted to know. My motto this year is to keep things simple.

Okay, enough of my rambling..... onto the card. This Simple Things Card was made using this weeks Freshly Made Sketch by Lesly Croghan. I really love the classic simplicity of this sketch. I know I will be using it again.

Simple Things Card Supplies:
  • Paper: Very vanilla cardstock by Stampin' Up!, designer paper pad by My Mind's Eye (So Sophie Graceful, #SSG6X6), and Latte matstack by DCWV (MS-003-00039).
  • Stamps: Time to Enjoy stamp by Hero Arts (F1843).
  • Inks: Smokey Plum by Close to my Heart.
  • Other Stuff: Corner punch by Creative Memories, flourish cut with Cricut machine, paper flowers  and yellow gemstone by The Paper Studio, and stampin' dimensionals.
