Hand Stamped Flowerpot Card

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today, I have my inspiration card for the challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. The theme this week is Gardening and the design team did a wonderful job turning this theme masculine. My Hand Stamped Flowerpot Card is a rarity for me, it's all hand stamped with NO patterned paper. I was afraid at first to use flowers on a masculine card but guys plant flowers, so I figured it should work. The idea was based off Flowerpot or Container Gardening. It's sad to admit that the Create a Garden stamp set by Rubbernecker has been in my stash for at least three years and this was the first time I inked it up. The sentiment stamp is called Every Season by Verve Stamps and was stamped using Memento black ink. The other ink colors are all by Stampin' Up! and include: Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Tangelo Twist, Garden Green, Pistachio Pudding, Crushed Curry and Island Indigo. That's it!

We hope you are inspired to join us this week at Cardz 4 Guyz. Click here to go directly to the challenge. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!

My Hand Stamped Flowerpot Card is entered into the following challenges:

Ability, Motivation & Attitude Card

During the day I'm a Business Instructor teaching Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management classes.  When I found the rubber stamp used in today's card I had to buy it.  The three traits ability, motivation, and attitude are the topics of many conversations I have with my students.  So, I may frame this photo and put it on my desk.  This ability, motivation & attitude card was made using the sketch from Card Positioning Systems and for the The Paper Players wordsmith challenge.  The sketch was perfect for this sentiment and the star worked great with my paper choice.

Ability, Motivation & Attitude Card Supplies: White cardstock, red cardstock, patterned paper by Adorn It (Dizzy Stars, 21963), white glitter cardstock, sentiment stamp by The Paper Studio (Ability, Motivation, Attitude, I1083), classic stampin' pad in midnight muse (126860), Cricut machine, George and Basic Shapes cartridge (red and white stars), blue glitter epoxy sticker by The Paper Studio (501379), and stampin' dimesionals.

Rubber Stamp Clearance

Clearance styles I saw at Michael's.  *Styles may vary by location.
It looks like it's rubber stamp clearance time.  While shopping at Michael's and Hobby Lobby I noticed a large amount of rubber stamp inventory marked down on clearance.  This week Michael's has 40% off Recollections punches and trimmers and Hobby Lobby has a 40% off Blow-Out sale on The Paper Studio and Stampablities products.  Click links for details.  Happy shopping!!!
