Autumn Blessings Card

Well, hello! It's been awhile since I've been able to make a card. One of my cats broke the tip of her front right elbow and had to have surgery. After surgery was 7 weeks of cage rest with minimal activity. Finally, we got the all clear that she can go back to normal activities. It was a long and hard 7 weeks, since she is only 9 months and still full of energy. I'm praying things will calm down now and life can get back to some kind of "normal." 

This Autumn Blessings Card was made using dies from Unity Stamps and the wreath is from the no longer in business Reverse Confetti Stamps. Copic markers were used to color the image and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Butterfly Wreath Card

Happy Wednesday! I have a quick post to share a couple of Butterfly Wreath Cards I made using a stamp set by Reverse Confetti. The pink card was made first and then I decided to make a blue one too. Copic markers were used to color the images and then they were die cut with the coordinating dies. A piece of patterned paper from the Summer paper pad from Carta Bella (2021) was used and adhered onto a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock by Stampin' Up!. The papers were cut with a scalloped layering die by Unity Stamps and a Thank You sentiment from Stampin' Up! was added. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it! From My Heart Card

Good day! We have snow on the ground here in Oklahoma and I always enjoy it's fleeting existence. It doesn't usually last more than a couple of days and that's a good thing for my aching joints. I venture outside to feed the birds and then quickly get back inside. Snow days are great crafting and napping days!  

To make this From My Heart Card I start with the color challenge at Color Throwdown to use Pink, Red, Cranberry and Kraft. These colors naturally lend themselves to a love or Valentine's Day card. The sentiment stamp is from Whimsies & Wishes and the little dog image is from the Love is in the Air stamp set by Reverse Confetti. The heart Kraft paper is from a paper pad I've had since 2012 called With Love by American Crafts and the other papers were from my scrap bin. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. I'm also entering this card into the With Love challenge at Simon Says and the All About Occasions challenge at Watercooler Wednesday. LOVE Card with Cat

Good day! I have a quick post to share this LOVE Card with Cat. It was inspired by several challenges that you will find listed at the bottom of this post. My goal this year is to make better use of the items already in my stash. While grieving the passing of my brother over the past couple of years, I've done a lot of online crafty shopping. Now it's time to use all those goodies. This card features a cat image by Reverse Confetti from the LOVE is in the Air stamp set. The image was colored with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating die. A large LOVE die cut by Reverse Confetti was layered and adhered flat. All patterned papers are from the French Kiss paper pad by Doodlebug Design Inc. To add some sparkle a thin strip of glitter cardstock was added and that's it. Thanks for stopping by!💗

Blooming Thanks Card - TMS #622

Hello! Recently I went through my stash and realized my thank you cards were getting low. So, I made this Blooming Thanks Card using this weeks sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. The image is by Reverse Confetti and it's called Bowl of Blooms. Copic markers were used to color the image and then the coordinating dies used to cut it out. Enjoy Your Day Card

Hello and happy Friday! Today I was in the mood to make a floral card and decided to use the Peony stamp set by Reverse Confetti. Copic markers were used to color the images and then the coordinating die cuts were used to cut them out. The black diagonal scallops were made using a cover panel die by Reverse Confetti and then it was adhered to a piece of blue polka dot paper by Bo Bunny. Lastly, the sentiment from the Simply Sentiments stamp set by Reverse Confetti was stamped and die cut with a stitched circle die. I like the Enjoy Your Day sentiment, it can be used for many different occasions from birthday to wedding. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. OMG Card - TMS #599

Hello! Can you believe it's the last Tuesday of the month? March just flew by! I hope you will have time to play along with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch was designed by me and I would love to see how you use it! My card was made for my niece who is a junior in high school. She recently received a couple of leadership honors and a card was definitely needed. I used the fun OMG stamp set by Reverse Confetti along with the coordinating die. Her school colors are red, black and white, so I tried to stick as close to those colors as possible. I went through every paper pad I had until I found the star paper from an American Crafts paper pad called Little by Little (2016). Simple Easter Cards

Good day! There was a lot going on this past month and I have successfully procrastinated on making my Easter Cards. Since time is now an issue, I'm making several Simple Easter Cards. A pretty floral patterned paper accented with coordinating polka dots along with a bold Happy Easter die cut by Reverse Confetti came together quickly. Then I decided to stamp the cute little rabbit from the Hop Into Spring stamp set by Reverse Confetti and used the coordinating die cuts. Hello and happy Sunday! This morning I woke up determined to make a card for the Try Stampin' On Tuesday challenge before it closes today. I was waiting for my Hop Into Spring stamp set by Reverse Confetti to arrive in the mail and I got it. So, I made this Happy Easter Card using the challenge sketch and large sentiment option. The Happy Easter die cut is also by Reverse Confetti and the tiny floral paper is from the Hoppy Easter paper pad by Doodlebug Design. This Bunny Birthday Card features an image by Reverse Confetti from the Party Pals stamp set. The image was colored with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating die. Some fun patterned papers from the Echo Park Happy Birthday paper pad was used along with a tiny chevron paper from my scrap bin. The birthday sentiment is from the retired Avant-Garden stamp set by Stampin' Up! and three punched pink stars were added. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Butterfly Wreath Card

Hello! After all the cold weather and snow we've had lately I'm ready for Spring. The blooming trees, flowers and eventually the return of the butterflies. 🦋🦋🦋 Something to look forward too during these lonely days at home.

To make this Butterfly Wreath Card I used an image by Reverse Confetti and it was colored with Copic markers. Once the image was colored it was die cut with the coordinating die. I love using gingham, so I found a tiny check that worked well. A piece of white cardstock was embossed and layered on top of the gingham. The image and sentiment were adhered flat and that's it. Yellow Butterfly Blossoms Card

Good day! Before I get to my card I have a question for you... have you ever spent time looking for something you swear you have, but it turns out you never purchased it? I looked for a Thinking of You die that I would have bet money I had, only to realize I never bought it. I gave up and looked through my order history at Simon Says Stamp and it wasn't there. I looked through my stash of cards I've made and there is no evidence I ever used it, so I must have dreamed I bought it.  😕

Onto this Yellow Butterfly Blossoms Card that I made using the Butterfly Blossoms stamp by Reverse Confetti. Last year I planted a butterfly bush by my back porch and I've had a lot of butterflies in my yard the last few weeks. When I look out the window it's fun to watch them and I love the big yellow ones! They were the inspiration for this card. I decided to use blue for the background paper and searched through my stash to find the Genevieve Collection paper pad by Bo Bunny (2015). A Thinking of You stamp by Momenta was used to finish the card and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. My grandmother is in a memory care facility and I send her cards, although I don't know if she remembers me at this point. It was last year at Thanksgiving when I saw her last. This Covid pandemic has prevented family from normal visits. Thankfully she is in a good facility and they are staying healthy. I'll be sending this card to her. Thanks for stopping by!

Balloon Kitty Birthday Card

Good day crafty friends! This past month I've been participating in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, so now I have several images completed and waiting to be used on a card. Today I colored this Balloon Kitty image from the new Party Pals stamp set by Reverse Confetti. Copic markers were used to color the image and then it was die cut with the coordinating die. When coloring the image I used colors to coordinate with papers from the It's a Celebration paper pad by Carta Bella (2014). I'm trying to use my older patterned papers. Good day! This afternoon I realized there wasn't much time left to make a card for the Stock Your Stash Challenge on the Reverse Confetti blog. So, I stamped this cute bunny and butterflies from the Spring Bunnies stamp set then colored them with Copic markers. Once they were colored I used the coordinating die cuts to cut them out. Card using Butterfly Blossoms

Hello! I'm still playing along with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, it's been good therapy for me. This butterfly is what I colored last night. It's from the Butterfly Blossoms stamp set by Reverse Confetti and it was colored with Copic markers. The coordinating dies were used to cut it out and then it was adhered to a white die cut panel that was adhered to a polka dot scalloped die cut panel from the Newton's Nook Frames & Flags die set. Two banners anchored with flowers add more detail and the one day at a time sentiment is by Verve Stamps. The sentiment reflects how I'm living my life since my brother passed away in December. Butterfly Blossoms Card

Good day! Mondays are usually my laundry and errand day. The one good thing about doing laundry is there is some down time to get some crafting done while the washer and dryer do their thing. This Butterfly Blossoms Card is what I made today. I've been wanting to use this butterfly for awhile, it's so pretty. It's from the Butterfly Blossoms stamp set by Reverse Confetti and Copic markers were used to color the image. For the background paper I've used my favorite color purple it provides a nice contrast to the orange butterfly. A little black gingham paper along the side for extra detail and three sequins were added for some sparkle. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Heart Spots Card

Hello and happy August 1st! August is definitely not my favorite month, but we are one month closer to Fall and that makes me happy. This past weekend we went to the Tulsa Zoo and currently they have four snow leopards. The mother had three babies last year, two boys and a girl. My hubby and I love watching them. The boys are being kept apart from their mother and sister. Eventually they will go to another zoo as part of the species survival program. It makes me so sad to think about this species vanishing from our Earth. They are so beautiful!
