Bunny Thinking of You Card

The month of February has flown by and I almost forgot to make a card for the Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge. The image provided this month is called Spring Bunny Friends and it's adorable. This image also works perfectly for the challenge at Allsorts to use something beginning with the letter 'B', Bunnies. I colored the image with Copic markers and then die cut it using a stitched oval die by My Favorite Things. All patterned papers are from the Hello Easter collection by Echo Park. The stamped flowers are from the retired Petite Petals stamp set by Stampin' Up! and the sentiment is from the Dottie Bunny stamp set by Unity Stamp Company. There's still a couple of days to join Gerda's progressive challenge, you can find all the details HERE. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Elephant Sympathy Card

This past week at the Tulsa Zoo their long time resident Gunda an Asian elephant passed away at the age of 67. She lived two decades longer than the average lifespan of an Asian elephant. My hubby and I were planning a trip to the zoo, so I made this Elephant Sympathy Card to give to the Zoo Keepers and Staff.

The elephant image is by Bugaboo Digi Stamps and it's one of my favorite older images. It's been in my stash since 2012 and I already had several printed to make a set of note cards. A paisley embossing folder by Cuttlebug, another older favorite, was used along with a scalloped frame by Taylored Expressions and the Petite Petal stamp set by Stampin' Up!. The colors include: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Perfect Plum and Pear Pizzazz all by Stampin' Up!. That's it, thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

COFFEE a Liquid Hug Card

Good day crafty friends! I have a quick post to share a summery coffee themed card I made for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. The digital image and sentiment are by Jessica Lynn Original. Copic markers were used to color the image and then it was die cut with a cross stitched die by My Favorite Things. The floral patterned paper is by Doodlebug Design Inc, Hello Sunshine paper pad. Two polka dot flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set by Stampin' Up! were added accented with punched green leaves from the retired Bird Builder punch. Two glimmer dot stickers by Jolee's were added to the center of the flowers and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Oh My Gooseness! Card

Good day and I hope it's been a lovely one for you. I have a cute square card to share. This Oh My Gooseness! Card was made using a Doodle Pantry digital image. Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge at Creative Knockouts to make a humorous card. In general, I think I'm funny. However, my humor is slightly sarcastic and not everyone appreciates this type of humor. So, I decided to go a safe route and stick to cute and funny. I searched my images and found this goose image that comes with a fun sentiment. It looks like these two geese are spreading a little gossip. I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday for the card design. The orange patterned paper is from the same digital image file and the blue is by Doodlebug Design. I stamped the yellow flowers using Daffodil Delight ink and the Petite Petals stamp set by Stampin' Up!. I used some rick rack to add a little detail and a orange stamped bitty butterfly. I think it turned out pretty good and I hope you like it too! Thanks for stopping by.

Daisy Love Birthday Card

Hello! A few days ago 4 Crafty Chicks posted an inspiration photo and I knew I had to play along. It took me several days to find the time, but today I finally created this Daisy Love Birthday Card. I used this weeks sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I'm playing along at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge to use Spring Blooms.

The card size is 5.25" square. The Daisy Love focal image by Penny Black is large and didn't allow for the oval shape in the sketch, so I rounded the corners with my corner rounder. I colored the image with Copic markers.  The patterned papers are from American Crafts Spring paper stack from 2013. I used the Petite Petals stamp set by Stampin' Up! for the corner floral detail and the sentiment is from the retired Simply Sketched hostess stamp set. That's it! Thanks for stopping by and come back soon.

It's a Thank You Card

It seems I have used several thank you cards lately and my stash was getting low. I like to keep several thank you cards to choose from because I never know what occasion I will need one for. This Thank You Card was created using the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. The patterned paper is a sneak peek of the new Moonlight paper stack (133701) that will be coming out in the new Stampin' Up! catalog on June 1st. You are also seeing two new colors: Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon. The stamps used on the flowers are from the Petite Petals stamp set by Stampin' Up! and the sentiment stamp is by Stampabilities. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Greetings of the Season Card

Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy time with your family today. Our family gatherings are all done and it's just the hubby and I at home today. We are having a very quite day and that gave me some time to make this Greetings of the Season Card. I used the new Petite Petals stamp set and punch from the upcoming Celebrate the Everyday catalog from Stampin' Up! The stamp set and punch will be available beginning January 3rd. I used the Top Note die and colors in Garden Green and Real Red. The sentiment is from the retired Greetings of the Season stamp set and the final touch was the addition of Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
