Birthday Bouquet Card
Greetings and thanks for stopping by my blog today! Work has been pretty busy this past week, so I didn't have much crafting time. This Birthday Bouquet Card was completed over the course of several days. I started by picking the papers and then coloring the Quill image by Whipper Snapper Designs with Copic markers. A stitched square die was used to cut out the image. I stamped the birthday sentiment directly onto the patterned paper (Simple Stories, Life In Color from 2016) with Memento black ink. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. The final touch was adding the little pink flower and leaves. That's it! Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
Challenges entered: Aud Sentiments (Birthday Sentiment), Crafty Catz (Anything Goes/Add Sentiment), Moving Along With The Times (Floral) and Watercooler Wednesday (All About Occasions).

Simple Things Card - TMS #500
It's a super happy Tuesday today as we celebrate challenge #500 at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I'm glad you stopped by and thank you for celebrating with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches. It's quite a milestone to reach our 500th challenge. We're so excited about this accomplishment that we decided to have a blog hop. Be sure to start at the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog, follow the hop and finish back at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
In case this is your first time visiting my blog, I'm Andrea and I started making cards in 2011. I've been on the Tuesday Morning Sketches design team since November of 2018, but I started playing along in their challenges in 2013. I took a look back through the years and found the first time I played along from TMS #184 and my card is HERE. It's fun to look back and see how our design styles have evolved. Being part of the design team is such an honor and I enjoy seeing how differently the sketches are interpreted each week. Our sketch this week is a little challenging at first glance, but really it's super easy and open to so much possibility with stamps, dies and borders. My card came together pretty quickly and features a Spellbinders Flourish Trim die, patterned paper by Bo Bunny from the Early Bird 6x6 paper pad and Time to Enjoy sentiment stamp by Hero Arts.
The prize I am offering is....
Be sure to comment here on my blog and link up your creation on the TMS blog to be considered for prizes. Yes! You can win a prize here and also on the TMS blog.

Easter Blessings Card with Bunny
Hello! I decided to make one more Easter card and couldn't resist using one of my favorite stamps called Let's Be Happy by Unity Stamps. The bunny is just darling and makes me smile. Copic markers were used to color the bunny and then a stitched square die was used. For the background paper I found a piece of yellow polka dots from my scrap bin and used a small piece of floral paper from the Spring Fling Paper Pad by Echo Park. A small pink butterfly finishes it off and that's it. So glad you stopped by and enjoy the rest of your day!
Challenges entered: Addicted to Stamps (Make Your Mark), Creative Moments (Anything Goes/Spring/Easter), Dragonfly Journeys (EveryBUNNY is Welcome), Simon Says Wednesday (Mood Board) and The Fairy and the Unicorn (Easter Rabbits).

Watercolor Kitten Card
Happy Friday! I have a quick post to share my latest card. After reading yesterday was National Pet Day, I figured I should make a card to honor our feline companions. We have rescued several throughout the years and enjoy sharing our home with them. They each have their own personalities and help to make life interesting. 😊
This Watercolor Kitten Card features a new stamp by Unity Stamps called Kitten Encouragement and my card was definitely inspired by the example by Karen Maldonado. It's been awhile since I've used watercolors, so that's what I did. To watercolor the image I used my Aqua Painter and Stampin' Up! classic ink pads. The background paper was already cut and sitting on my desk. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Easter Chick Card
Hello crafty friends! Over the next couple of weeks I'll be making numerous Easter cards for my family and friends. I really enjoy making Easter cards but I also procrastinate and make most of them right before I need them. 😊
This Happy Easter Chick Card was made using the current freebie at Bugaboo Stamps and it was colored with Copic markers. Then it was die cut with a cross stitched oval die by My Favorite Things. The hardest part was picking the patterned papers, but after a little digging I found a few I liked. To finish the card I added the Happy Easter sentiment and a stamped flower from my stash. That's it! So glad you stopped by and enjoy the rest of your day.

Pastel Happy Easter Card
Hello and happy Friday! Today is the last day to enter the current Inky Paws color challenge, so I figured I better get my card done. I struggle with pastel colors and had attempted making a card several times and just stopped. Time is also running out to make Easter cards and that prompted me to make this Pastel Happy Easter Card. I played around with my patterned papers, after making my selections I stamped and colored the image. The image is called Spring Pile Up by Newton's Nook and it was colored with Copic markers, which is my favorite coloring medium. The blue used is called Baby Blue by Copic marker and it varies from the color in the challenge photo, but I figured baby blue of all shades would work. After coloring the coordinating dies were used to cut out the image and the Happy Easter sentiment. You can't tell from the photo, but I added sugar cube glitter paint by Martha Stewart Crafts to the sentiment for some sparkle. Then I decided to color and die cut some flowers and leaves from the Deer Friend stamp set by Newton's Nook. Finally I had a finished pastel colored card. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the weekend!

Slow and Steady Card
When I look through my stamp stash it's obvious I'm a sucker for cute critters, butterflies and floral stamp sets. The first time I saw a card made with this Slow and Steady image by Neat and Tangled I immediately went to their website and made my purchase. I definitely need to work on my self control! But... it's cute, right?
This Slow and Steady Card was made with my youngest niece in mind. She is in high school and I'm sure I'll have plenty opportunities where this card would be perfect for her. The image was colored with Copic markers and then die cut with the coordinating die. The small butterfly and flowers are from two different stamp sets by Newton's Nook. They were already colored and in my stash of extras. The background paper is from the Hello Sunshine paper pad by Doodlebug Design (2014) and it was die cut with the Frames and Flags die set by Newton's Nook. So glad you stopped by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Simple Thank You Card - TMS #497
Happy Tuesday! This weeks challenge sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches is perfect for a simple easy card. Although it could certainly be used for a more elaborate design. I took the simple approach and used a piece of patterned paper from the Pretty Things paper pad by MME. The butterfly is from my bin of "extras" that I stamped many years ago and I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Petal Palette stamp set by Stampin' Up!. That's it, a Simple Thank You Card. We would love for you to join us this week! Click here for all the challenge details and design team inspiration. You have until 8 pm EST on Sunday to link your creation. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day.
